Aroosa is a results-driven pharmacy professional transitioning into a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role, bringing a unique blend of clinical expertise and medical affairs acumen to her position as a Project Manager at MSLA. With a foundation as clinical Pharmacist and recent experience as an Associate Medical Advisor, Aroosa has a proven track record in KOL engagement, scientific communication, and ensuring ABPI compliance. She has directly supported clinical research activities and is passionate about bridging scientific evidence with strategic project execution. Her background ensures a deep, practical understanding of the medical and compliance landscape that MSLA navigates. Aroosa holds an MPharm in Pharmacy (1st Class Honours) and is a Non-Medical Prescriber. Outside of her professional pursuits, she is fascinated by the application of AI in medical affairs for real-world evidence generation and is an avid traveler, having recently visited 12 countries in 12 months.

Matthew is a PhD student at Imperial College London researching neuroinflammation and the glymphatic system. He holds a BSc in Biochemistry, an MRes in Translational Medicine, and an MBA in Clinical Leadership. Matthew has received mentoring to help advance his aspirations of becoming an MSL. Outside academia and work, he enjoys sports, travel, and mentoring students, particularly those from under-represented groups.

Hayley Kuter

Senior Medical Science Liaison

Hayley is a Senior MSL and currently works in neuroscience, but has also worked in haematology/oncology and allergy. She joined the pharma industry in 2018, having spent 18 years working in the NHS. She has a Masters in Clinical Research and has a passion for ongoing learning and development (in and out of role). Beyond work, Hayley has previously run marathons at an elite level and now spends her spare time fell running, cycling and wild swimming.

Chuck joined Pfizer in April 2022 initially as a Commercial colleague before secondment as an ABPI Code of Practice reviewer, culminating in his current role as a Senior Medical Affairs Advisor having worked across 7 brands. He has 14 years’ experience in the NHS as a hospital pharmacist, specialising in Oncology, and aseptic services, with a stint in healthcare informatics working for First Databank. Outside of work, Chuck enjoys playing football, hiking, running, and going to live music events.

Louise currently works in the Haematology area and this is her first role in this field. Louise has been an MSL since 2021 and in the Pharma industry since 1999, always previously in sales roles and for the last 13 years in solid tumours. Louise has a keen interest in MSL excellence & supporting MSLs to be the best they can be. Louise is a sports scientist by background and her sporting achievements have been a 6 times world & 5 times European master’s athletics champion. Louise is now currently racing in the Hyrox world.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Vanesa is a neuroscientist with over six years of experience communicating science to different audiences. As a researcher at the University of Edinburgh, she has guided and supervised students completing their projects, and she has supported them with training and education. She has experience in scientific design and graphic communication and is a co-winner of the SIDB scientific design contest. As part of the MSLA, Vanesa supports the team for design and marketing, and she has benefited from mentoring to support her aspiration to become an MSL. In her free time, she likes to keep active with swimming, paddleboarding or archery, and she keeps boosting her creative side with embroidery and painting.

Tara is an MBChB student at Aston University. Through her medical degree, she has developed a strong foundation of clinical knowledge and now aims to transition into the life sciences and medical affairs sector. At the MSLA, Tara supports the planning and organisation of the MSLA conference, which also provides her with valuable mentorship to further her ambition of becoming a Medical Science Liaison. Beyond her academic pursuits, Tara is actively involved in widening access to medicine, working with a charity that supports students from non-selective backgrounds in their applications. She also has experience as a Medical Admissions Lead for an educational company, where she oversees the development, management, and delivery of its medical admissions division.
